Written comments:

Each week you will be expected to bring your own written comments (enough copies for all participants) to share with class members, based on articles read for that week's discussion. These 'reaction papers' (typically 1-2 paragraphs, but no more than one page) may include new ideas stimulated by what you read, questions (and potential answers) raised by what you read, points of disagreement you have with the author, or pretty much anything else you want to put down on paper. These papers will be shared with all participants at the start of each week's meeting and will be used to focus and direct our discussions. Don't worry - once you've written one or two it will seem quite simple, and fun!
